delicious home-made cakes.

Firework Display

November 5th

Well, the rain stopped just in time and a large crowd

of villagers and friends enjoyed the firework display, drank mulled wine

and hot chocolate and munched through lots of hot dogs.

Thanks to all for braving the weather and supporting the event.

Plus a big thank you to the organisers

 - hope you dried out after the wet afternoon setting up!

Carol Service

Sunday 20th December

Sing around the Tree

then Carols and mince pies at the Hall

Record attendance this year along with some very enthusiastic singing and hand bell ringing
made for a lovely pre-Christmas get together in the Hall.

A special thank you to Julie for stepping in at the last moment to play the keyboard and
to the children of Aberthin for showing the adults how hand bells should be played.

Come along, sponsor a duck and join in the fun as 500 highly trained Yellow Ducks race down Nant Aberthin - you never know, YOURS could be the winner. Just £1.00 per duck - from your committee member or pay on the day - if there are any left!

Remember, the more ducks you sponsor the better your chances of winning the top cash prize.

There will be a special race for children featuring the famous Aberthin Red Ducks - a sight not to be missed.

Ducks are available from committee members and the first heat will commence at 10.30am.
Huw will be keeping score throughout the heats but as usual, his duck never knows which way to run
